Post by akhooters7 »

Ok.. so here is the way I heard it....

guy comes home in the afternoon last saturday.. finds his backdoor kicked in... confronts intruder coming out of a bedroom.. intruder runs... homeowner gets a shotgun , gets in his car, chases him down the street and takes potshots at the intruder as he is running between homes.....

never saw anything on the news... but it did happen..

anybody hear about this...

don't know what the rr pd did to the guy taking shots.....

Sounds like a Benny Hill skit
It is said that if you line up all the cars in the world end-to-end, someone would be stupid enough to try to pass them

I like the third story better:
SAN MARCOS

Council acts on bar hour change

All council members except one gave the go-ahead Tuesday evening to a plan that would eventually lead to later bar hours...

..Alcohol sales in San Marcos bars end at midnight during the week...
New Year's is lame if not on Saturday. "Happy new year, now get out." Heh.

He will most likely going to be charged with something. It is not legal to continue chasing a person and taking pot shots at them if they haven't taken any of your property and are trying to get away from you.

Perhaps they will use the Benny Hill defense.

The only story I saw was that one the neighbors had 30 cal shot come through the window from some man driving down the street shooting a shotgun chasing a BG. Of course, they were talking about suing. It was on Austin ch 24 news.

Reckless Endangerement? I believe there is also a law against discharging a firearm on a public road. Attempted homocide at worst.

You just don't do that.

However; I can see the guy maybe in the heat of the moment just going Terminator with the shotgun trying to lay him flat on the pavement.
:fire But shooting around the neighborhood :headscratch not cool. :coolgleamA:
