Keep us posted on this. It will be interesting to find out what they teach. I hope it is better then telling women NOT TO RESIST or teaching them how to play dead.

I think this is a great idea, but they need to go beyond using backpacks and textbooks to defend themselves. Maybe they should include self-defense into the PE curriculum, if they still have PE.

Those with rich fantasy lives who think "gun free zone" signs stop killers at the door will object vociferously. However, an examination of the options - fight or submit and die - can be understood by most reasonable folks.
Large cracks are starting to show in the fraud that being defenseless somehow bestows an immunity to violence. All of recorded history is a clue to those who are paying attention, and more and more folks are beginning to do just that.
