Charter Arms Developments

Post by casingpoint »

In addition to the Patriot guns chambered in 327 MAGNUM now in production, Charter Arms is preparing to introduce 9mm, .40 and .45 caliber revolvers. The .40 comes of as a cheap way to approximate the .41 MAG, an admirable goal in itself. Can't wait until they come out with one chambered for 357 SIG. Wow. That will be one humdinger of a gun.

But there is one lingering doubt, as everybody knows the recent history of Charter. Are the new Charter guns up to it this time around?

These should sell by the train load. I don't need but 4 of them. 2 @9mm, 2@.45acp :hurry:
Ø resist

Take away the second first, and the first is gone in a second.

One of these may make it on my "to buy" list for next year. Probably the .40 as that is what my primary carry gun is.

charter's latest stuff is on par with kel-tec, only somewhat better and less complicated. I have a .38 special of theirs that works well.

Man I sure will be interested in taken a look at that .45 acp. I am glad that someone besides S&W will be making one. Hopefully this will promote some other manufactures (you hear me Ruger) to make these.

The first handgun I ever shot was a revolver in .45ACP. I will be buying one when I have the $$$ to.

I'm interested in the 45 rimless. I want to keep the number of calibers I stock limited to a few. I'm guessing a short 45 revolver must be a handful but should do the trick.

My other question is about the 9mm rimless and using 380 in it, my other favorite caliber. I'm sure it will fit in the hole but how will it fire? Any first-hand experience?
