Duncanville Outreach Ministries

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Duncanville Outreach Ministries

Post by scootergeek »

Please pray for my mother and father and sheryl and all the other generous voulnteers who run the Duncanville outreach Ministries. This year has taken a toll on them mentally amd physically due to the economic state we are currently in. The number of families they serve has almost doubled over last year and the ammount of monies and food needed is extremely hard to come by. They are trying to enlarge the facility to help more famlies in 2009 and need all the support they can get. The scope of this project is $41,000 and is needed as soon as possible. They just can't operate out of the currently facility in the size it is.

If you all could offer up a prayer or donation it would sure help a great community and team of people who truly care for the needs of others.

For those that would like to donate you can reach Anita at the outreach at 972-296-4986 9am - 3pm monday thru friday.

For those that just want to pray, their names are Tony and Anita .

Lord I pray for Tony and Anita, and thank you for the ministry you have given them. I ask for the provision needed to minister to your hurting children, please provide them the money and necessities they have need of, and we give you the glory.

Thank you all again for your support of my Friends and Family. The addition to the building will be built regardless but the monies that are going to be used are coming out of a disaster/emergency account so those monies need to be replaced soon.

Prayers up for the Duncanville Outreach Ministries. Charities' needs for donations have been hit hard in the past six months, and my fear is that the economy will get worse in 2009 before it gets better. But it will get better.
