Taurus Slim?

Post by jeeperbryan »

Anyone know that status on the new Taurus Slim? Their website still shows 4th quarter as a release date, but obviously we're already in the last qtr and haven't seen one yet.

I've been waiting for this since I read about it from one of my handgun magazines and also from Michael Bane. I can't wait to get a hold of one and see how it feels.

Saw the pics from the Shot Show in January. Almost a year later and it still hasn't made it to market. Looks promising, but sometimes the delays by Taurus are maddening. Still looking forward to checking it out if it ever materializes. Meanwhile... :waiting:

They had an article on this pistol in Guns and Ammo? probably 6 months ago. I called my dealer and he showed nothing. I have been following the Taurus forum and comments stated that it would be around the first of December. That has come and passed. I like the fact it has a safety. I want to see one soon!

A single stack Mil Pro. That could turn out to be one good belly gun up against the Kel Tec PF-9. I think I'll buy the one with the best customer service. Duh.

Very nice! I haven't seen one, but sure would like to try one out. I would be very interested in hearing a review on it from anyone on the forum that finds one.

I hadn't heard about that one. SA only? Does it have a safety? Web site doesn't say. 8+1 is one more round than my CW9 carries. This could be an ideal pistol for my wife.

I have seen sites that call it SA, SA/DA, DA/SA and DA. One thing I haven't seen on any pictures is a hammer or a manual safety.
One thing that does seem certain is that for us common folk the gun doesn' t yet exist.
