The importance of mindset

Post by tarkus »

"The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental."
John Steinbeck

A brave young woman is sharing her terrifying story of survival after fighting off a burglar who ambushed her in her Meyerland home.
Police later found electronics stacked up in piles.

They think Amy had interrupted a burglary -- that could have turned into something so much worse.

"I was lucky, not everyone is," she said.

The assault has left Amy shaken and now she's taking self-defense classes.

Good for her! She stopped the BG's initiative, re-gained the initiative, and worked to continually improve position.

Way to go! As you said the brain is your weapon...improvise...just win! Never, never give up!
I wonder if the self-defence classes include CHL?
"I felt like I was going to die anyways so I better go out fighting," Amy said.
She has a warrior spirit and I thank God she is okay!

The three things you need to survive are: mindset, skillset and toolset in that order.

All the tools in the world won't help you if you don't know how to use them and all the skills in the world won't help you if you aren't willing to employ them.
