Decent deal on magazines

Post by TheArmedFarmer »

Ammoman has some nice looking Colt pre-ban AR-15 magazines for sale, $32 each if you buy 10 of them. That's not a great price compared to a couple months ago, but this is as good a price as I believe you'll find anytime soon. If full capacity magazines are banned soon, then you'll be sorry you didn't pick some up.

Also, 15 round Glock 19 mags (made in Korea) for $13 each if you buy 10 of them.

My opinion is that ammo, magazines and firearms are just about the safest investments available in this economy right now.

I received a SALE flyer from CTD over Christmas that had some relatively decent magazine prices; however, my experience with CTD is that they make up the difference (tear you a new one) with their shipping and handling charges.

The nice thing about ammoman is the price they charge is the final amount. Shipping is included in the cost.

These folks do not appear to be jacking the prices much. http://www.cproductsllc.com/shop/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Take away the second first, and the first is gone in a second.

Brownells has 30 round Pmags for $16.45. This is the same price they have always been. The website says they are out of stock, but if you place an order it will take about 1 week before it ships (at least that was the lead time about 3 weeks ago). You don't have to pay inflated prices if you have a little patience.

When you register at Brownell's site, in the last category check that you're a "gunsmith" and you'll get discounted prices on many items. The $16.45 P-mags become $12.97 P-mags. :coolgleamA:

Also, do a Google search and you may find "Free Shipping" code numbers for Brownell's purchases over a certain amount.

Those are the first aftermarked mags I have seen for Glock. Anybody have experience with them? With Glock factory mags approaching $30 each, I'd love to find a more reasonable source.

I wouldn't advocate doing this unless you are a gunsmith. Companies like Brownell's and Midway USA treat their customers very well and I would like to think that their customers will treat them just as well.

These are great mags.

You can still place backorders for these with Aim Surplus: $9.95
