Catagory on businesses that post 30.06 signs

Is there a catagory in the forum or an ongoing thread for us to post businesses that do not allow CHL holders. I have seen a post here and there but nothing ongoing.I would love to keep an ongoing list of these businesses so we can spend our money elsewhere. Please direct me to the location if one exist or direct me to the person who can get a permanent one started.

Thank you, good site but until we get something started on all the forums and these people start to lose money, I do not think anything will change. When I go into a business that has a sign posted, I politely tell the management why I will never buy there and leave. If enough people do this, they might get the idea. If we just boycott the businesses, they might just think they are losing business because of the economy. I think all the firearm forums get a lot more hits than that 3006 website. I know a lot of people want to be politically correct and do not want to ruffle feathers but we better do something because we are in for the fight of our lives against all of these gun control nuts. I would like to see the site administration add this as a catagory and we need to report every business that post a sign, it takes great numbers to get anything changed. I hope everyone that reads this and agrees( I know some won't) they try to get this started on the other forums they belong to as well.

Telling the manager will not be as effective as writing a letter to the manager/owner. In all liklihood, "telling" a clerk will be a waste of breath and time. In other words, "if it ain't in writin', it didn't happen".

With so many choices out there, I don't see any reason to spend my time arguing with prejudiced people. It's better to go somewhere else and spend my money there. There are plenty of businesses that want my money. Especially in this economy.

Examples of slacktivist activities include signing internet petitions, the wearing of wristbands ("awareness bracelets") with political messages, putting a ribbon magnet on a vehicle, joining a Facebook group, posting issue-oriented YouTube videos or taking part in short-term boycotts such as Buy Nothing Day or Earth Hour.

I disagree that notifying clerks meets this definition but it does seems rather pointless. I very much like the idea of sending a letter to the manager and perhaps the company HQ. Has someone written such a letter already that could be duplicated. If letters came into management, that might have the desired impact.

If not, perhpas one of you wordsmiths might consider taking a crack at it?

You could be right but I think we agree, we better do something because we are losing this battle. It is amazing at the answer you get if you ask the owner or manager why they put the sign up, the answer I get 8 out of 10 times is " we want to keep guns out and keep a safe enviorment", at that point, there is no need to try and be logical with someone. There are still people out there that think a sign will keep bad guys out and we all know that it is just the good guys that it is going to keep out.

My problem with that thing about "slacktivism" is that it's incomplete. Someone is a slacktivist if they ONLY do slack things. But someone who's truly active AND posts informative youtube videos isn't.

Furthermore, that whole definition is egregiously elitist. Slapping the face of people who agree with you just because they're not active ENOUGH for YOU isn't a good way to get your point across or to get your agenda forwarded, IMO.
