If I put myself in the position of the people at the table, I don't think I'd shoot. The video makes it hard to completely judge the situation. OTOH, if all 3 BG's went to the back, I'd got up and left. Again, it's hard to tell the complete story based on the SV.

Situational Awareness: I guess sitting with your back to the wall is a better option than sitting in a place where BG's can approach from multiple sides and can't been seen til they get to your table.

I would like to have heard the BGs conversation before the robbery. Must have been interesting to hear how they decided which one only got a bat! 1-2-3- Not It :anamatedbanana

That is a tough one to call. They pointed their guns at you and your family. You just really do not know unless you are in that situation. However, if they harmed anyone in there I would not think twice about pulling and shooting the thugs.

As for the seating. The best seat in the house is in the back corner. La Cosa Nostra (Mafia) did this. They sat at the table in the back corner of the restaurant. This way they could see who entered through the front door and the kitchen. They also always sat with their back to the wall so that nobody could sneak up on them.

Its a very good practice IMO.

They should rob Taste of Texas. The restaurant and the customers have more money than a typical McDonalds so the payoff is higher and Taste of Texas makes sure the customers are disarmed for safer robberies.

I thought we cleared that up. http://www.texasshooting.com/TexasCHL_F ... 1&start=90" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Turns out that even though Ed Hende made clear on the radio that he doesn't want us carrying there, there is no 30.06 sign and we can legally carry in there. For some reason one of the best threads on the forum got locked there wasn't even much thread drift.
