I got my S&W M&P 9c today.
Haven't shot it yet, due to the icestorm, I was visiting family in the hospital and grocery shopping, when my FFL guy called and said he got two of them in.
I went...I saw....I purchased.
Pics to come after I shoot it some and clean it up a little bit.
Picked it up today..

Dry fire that thing and get a feel for it before range time. It's cheaper and more effective in my opinion

Just put the gun through it's first cleaning (I always do that before I actually fire it). Seems like most firearms aren't clean from the manufacturer. Doesn't bother me though, I enjoy cleaning guns.
After the cleaning, I did some dry firing. Feels good, the trigger has a little less slack in it than my XD .45, so it'll be a little different shooting experience. But, just like breaking in new shoes, with time it'll feel perfect.

Re: Picked it up today..
I was weary about the M&P when they came out b/c of S&W history the sigma series. I have heard nothing but great reviews from the M&P though. I have not shot one, but I am very interested. I might try my local indoor range that rents handguns and let a few loose.

Your signature line quotation comes from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar: Antony was the character who said it.
