Theres a big difference between shooting quick draw 'cowboy style' and drawing your weapon in self defense. By 'cowboy style', I mean drawing a single action revolver from a cowboy rig and firing from the hip. That wouldnt serve CHL holders well when innocent bystanders start getting shot. What agbullet is probably talking about when he said that was that in our case, we wont be shooting like that, rather we will be taking the time to properly draw and aim. Im quite sure he didnt mean to draw in slow motion.

You missed my point. Go back and read some of the posts in this thread. People have said pretty well point blank, "One should NEVER twirl a gun.

I basically asked, "So there's no room in the world for the people who do gun tricks?" This would include gun twirlers, fast shot people, etc.

I don't understand why you include "fast draw" as a gun trick, so I don't get your point either.
Speed is a tactic not a safety violation.

I will try to sum up the tone and intent of most posters on this thread.

Gun manufacturers, firearm instructors, gun clubs, sport shooting associations, and the general shooting community have embraced some form of the 4 rules posted above as examples of unsafe gun handling.
