I also recomend the MTAC. Just see my Signature for a full review that I did about a year ago. Comp-Tac is a great company and they will never do you wrong. Even thought they say they are 12 days behind I have always gotten my gear from there pretty quick. I also recomend a seperate Mag pouch for reasons as previously stated above. as for my self I just use the Comp-tac double mag pouch.

Depends on how you dress. I'm 6' and weigh 265. I wear an OWB holster and mag carrier (at 3:00 and 8:00, respectively) with an untucked "work shirt' for cover and have never been "made". Most of the people that I have brought shooting to the range were quite surprised (and in one case, flabbergasted) that I had all that on and they had never noticed it, despite seeing me almost daily for a year while I carried that way.

Here's an illustration of my carry method. These are pics from when I first started carrying this gun and with this method. The only changes I've made since then were upping my cover shirts a size for better length and getting a proper gun belt (it makes a HUGE difference).





Longtooth inspired me to adopt this carry method, as he carries in a similar fashion, though with a vest instead of a shirt.

My main carry is a Hi-Power carried in a Galco Combat Master, a Safariland Model 75 Double-Mag pouch on a Bullhide gun belt from The Beltman.

The Combat Master is a high-riding holster with a significant cant. High-riding and canted holsters go a long way to alleviate "printing" issues a lot of folks have with belt holsters. They're less likely to peek out from a cover garment, and place the gun in a more innocuous area. I also find that it makes the gun easily accessible while driving, as well as easy to unholster in general.

The only drawback I see at this time is that MTAC is 12 days behind on shipping their products.

Depends on your perspective. If you're waiting for the likes of Milt Sparks or H.B.E. Leatherworks 12 days looks like a good deal. The current wait for Milt is 20 to 26 weeks and H.B.E. is estimating a 6 to 8 week wait depending on your order. There is another well known maker that isn't promising anything for about a year!

Right2Carry, you forgot to tell him there is a year+ wait if he wants a M-11 from Brigade.
I am in month 11 of waiting, after ordering when they had a 24-26 week wait time.
Your M-11 is nice looking and I'm sure it's a good holster. But I say forget Brigade if
you want something in this lifetime. Leather? Go with Milt Sparks VM II or even a
Tx boy nm-holsters.com.

I didn't forget anything, it is right there on the web page for all to see. I happen to think that Brigade was well worth the wait. Any good quality leather holster is going to have a fairly decent wait time. If you want something that is hand crafted you will have to wait. There are plenty of holster makers out there who have nothing better to do than mass produce holsters for those who don't have the patience to wait for quality.

Like I said, I think your M-11 is a good looking holster etc....
The info you refer to on their website was just recently posted.
I know because I check it about once a month.
I agree there are other custom holster makers and most can have
rather lengthy wait times. Alessi et al, is this the comparison you're
making? Did you wait a year to receive your M-11?
I simply don't like being told 24-26 weeks and then waiting 48-52.

how long you've had it, your first IWB, how long you waited etc. etc. etc. by

I've tried several IWB holsters and for me the Crossbreed Supertuck wins hands down.
