Range Report (my new M&P)
Finally got to take the M&P 9C to the range yesterday.
Put 50 rounds through it, of Magtech FMJ's. I would've shot more, but I was a little pressed for time.
Anywho...the gun performed awesome!! Didn't even feel like it needed breaking in, everything moved without a hitch, went bang everytime I pulled the trigger. Accuracy: I couldn't ask for more. I did 12 rounds at 9ft....put them in a fist sized group. Then 21ft....same story, 12 rounds, no strays. Then I moved it out to 30ft, 12 rounds, and the groups opened up a little bit, but not too much. The other 14 rounds I let loose at 45ft. They were a little more widespread, but only 2 shots outside the 8 ring. I blame it on me needing a new eyeglass prescription (or Lasik?).
I'm going to go back this weekend and run about 200 rounds through it, I'm sure it needs it.
All in all....couldn't be happier with it. Recoil was very manageable, followup shots were a breeze, although I didn't try it single handed or offhanded.
The S&W M&P 9C gets a big thumbs up from me.

Re: Range Report (my new M&P)
Thank ya Compvest. I couldn't ask for a whole lot more out of it. I'm really glad that it didn't need to be "broke in" with 200-500 rounds before it shot well. I've heard of other guns needing that.

no break in. I have one in each caliber and size. Not one didn't shoot great straight out of the box.

I'm glad to read that. That'll save me some 9mm that I had to hunt all over town for. Thanks ma'am (you are a lady, correct?)

Re: Range Report (my new M&P)
Got a M&P 9c and an XD-9M back around Thanksgiving. During the first "accuracy" testing session, very little difference in groups at 50'. No glitches with either. Both have been rode hard as "training guns" for the past couple of months ...

Just got the 45 compact and will be putting more rounds thru it today while I wait on my new holster to get here before it becomes my edc
It is said that if you line up all the cars in the world end-to-end, someone would be stupid enough to try to pass them
