Shreveport teen wins unusual Darwin award

Post by seamusTX »

An 18-year-old Shreveport, LA, man shot off his "family jewels" when a handgun that he was carrying discharged.

Adding insult to injury, police plan to charge him with illegally discharging a firearm when he is released from the hospital.

Are you sure they can still accurately refer to him as a man? :smilelol5:
Remember, in a life-or-death situation, when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.

He prolly thought carrying a gun would make him more impotent. He was right.
it's socially unacceptable to be ahead of your time.

The most likely explanations are that in his agony he flung it, and it's in the bushes somewhere, or someone who was with him ran with it.

The qualification for the Darwin Award is usually expressed as "removing himself from the gene pool". If he did actually remove his ability to reproduce, I believe that would qualify.
