Prime example of why the carry laws need to be simple in wording so that any 8th grader can read it & understand it. That way everyone could understand it except Montgomery county DA & maybe another we won't refer to.

I was reading Ohio's local laws and they are screwed up. In Cincinatti it's illegal to own any type of SEMI-AUTOMATIC fire arm. Any one who owns one must render it useless. I go to Ohio all the time and the Dept. of Transportation there see big trucks as rolling ATM's. I know of several drivers who were ticketed for speeding for doing 56mph in a 55mph zone. Yes, 1mph over. States like this only show how much we need a federal law protecting our right to carry.

Isn't that already in place and called the 2nd Amendment?

Diode, I am sorry. I had a brain cramp I guess. I meant Harris county & just let my fingers walk on the keyboard where my brain had not been. :banghead:

Guess what I should have said is that we need the feds to control the states abuse of our 2nd amendment rights. I spoken with LEO's in several states and they all agree that gun laws need to be uniform all across the country.

I wouldn't get to worked up over this one. As usual there is more to the story than the newspaper reports. This guy has a history of brushes with the local law.

How he has a CCW is unknown.
