A pretty good video of a home invasion...

Post by stevie_d_64 »

http://www.counton2.com/cbd/news/nation ... ood/20524/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Now I could not get the volume up to hear this just yet, but the article doesn't mention a few critical things, like...

Why???

That vehicle was not hard to ID...Vehicle type, pimpin' wheel package, etc etc...

Three of the invaders seemed to know abount the surveillance camera to do what they could to hide their faces somewhat...The other guy was just stupid...But that is beside the point...One had an AR, and coincidentally, the "homeowner" had one too...

Again, why did they target this homeowner, knowing he had the camera, and the firepower to "defend" himself???

So I guess once y'all see this, and I can get the volume issue fixed, we'll know...

Interesting to pick at these types of incidents...

There was a big thread on this already at http://www.texasshooting.com/TexasCHL_F ... 23&t=22433" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

However, this shows a little different version of the video the way it is put together.

Home security cameras and an AR-15? He sounds like half the people on gun forums! :smilelol5:

Whew, that was a while back...Missed it I guess...

I guess I am not surprised that the tone used in the article, that it is stupid to use an "assault rifle" :banghead: to defend yourself for any reason, because we somehow do not know how it can effect people around us...(i.e.: rounds hitting the nieghbors house across the street, etc etc) :totap:

Damn shame it didn't kill all four of them. Just thing how much future crime it woudl have prevented.

That guy was hit for a reason. Thugs don't just roll up in the middle of the day with that car parked out front and RUN up to the door with an AR. He had something they wanted or some prior altercation probably happened that is not mentioned.

Recit, I agree, just because they refered to the person who had to overcome the BG's initiative, ie is being victimized by, doesn't mean he's not involved in illegal enterprises. But, it is a pretty bold assault.

I agree. Banks get robbed all the time. That doesn't mean bankers are drug dealers.
