improper posting
i saw the place to post cities and agencies improperly posting but didn't think this would fit.
a Stop-n-Rob i frequent has the 51% signage, in spanish only. first of all, i don't believe a Stop-n-Rob derives fifty one of its income from the sale of alcohol. secondly, to be legal do they not have to post BOTH english and spanish since, well i don't read spanish how could i possibly be liable?

Re: improper posting
Remember, the 51% applies the sale of alcohol for on premisis consumption.
The sign is legally meaningless. Disregard, as I suspect you already do...correctly.

Re: improper posting
shoot, i forgot about the "on premises" part, thanks. i have carried past the sign. the first time i saw it i grinned a little and went in and bought me a fountain drink

Re: improper posting
Perhaps you might inform the TABC that the store has the wrong sign.
I believe they would
1. appreciate knowing that
2. send the store the correct sign

as in "the unlicensed possession of a firearm on these premises..." or the 30.06, which would cause me to get my coca cola fix elsewhere?
Re: improper posting
the first.
TABC is not the "controlling agency" over the 30.06 sign. They only specify either the "unlicensed" (blue) or 51% (red) sign.

And, it's only in one language. It's not a good sign..CWOOD wrote:Remember, the 51% applies the sale of alcohol for on premisis consumption.
