I searched, but didn't get any hits. Do any of you guys know if Fossil Rim Wildlife Park outside of Glen Rose is posted 30.06? I did the King Tut exhibit at Dallas Museum of Art and appreciate your responses, so thought I would give it a shot with Fossil Rim as well.
Cheers!

Re: Fossil Rim Wildlife Park posted 30.06???
I was just there about 3 weeks ago. It is not posted at any point near the entrance, nor at the visitor's center about 1/2 way along the drive. I carried when I was there.

I carried as well, but the 375 H&H needed for some of those beasties was tough to hide!

The wife and I were discussing the annual family membership (since it's just over a half-hour drive for us, we could easily justify the $157 price tag in a year) and I was thinking maybe I should figure out some way to mount the trunk 12ga up front :)

How 'bout a "Rat Patrol" jeep with a Browning M2 50BMG mounted in the back? You could wear the cool Aussie hat!KD5NRH wrote:The wife and I were discussing the annual family membership (since it's just over a half-hour drive for us, we could easily justify the $157 price tag in a year) and I was thinking maybe I should figure out some way to mount the trunk 12ga up front :)
We had a great time today, and one of the very large giraffes took my 10 yr old's entire hand in it's mouth while eating the provided kibble (the giraffe was the only animal we were told could eat from our hand).

Don't try to feed the zebras that way, unless you just want a scar with a good story behind it. Mine's barely visible anymore.camjr wrote:We had a great time today, and one of the very large giraffes took my 10 yr old's entire hand in it's mouth while eating the provided kibble (the giraffe was the only animal we were told could eat from our hand).
