Our School

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Our School

Post by troglodyte »

I teach at small Christian school. As the economy has gone south, along with other factors, our enrollment has dropped. This decline threatens our staff. Some will certainly be out of a job while others (or maybe all) will likely have to take pay cuts. Most of us see it as a mission work but a cut in our already meager salaries ($15k+below local school district pay) we will likely lose some more teachers...I may be one of them... This not only effects the teacher but also the school as they must find another qualified, licensed teacher to fill that vacancy. Not always easy to do considering the salary deficit.

I ask that you pray for blessings for our school and wisdom for the board as they struggle through the tough decisions that must be made.

Me too. I am a great supporter of parents who send their childre to private school or home school.

ANyone who cares about children enough to teach them is a saint in my book; but then again, I'm biased because my wife is a teacher.

You have my prayers, also. I pray for the God of Wisdom to impart wisdom and understanding to this school board and teachers. We pray the windows of heaven will open up and pour out Your blessings upon each teacher, board member, and student...and we think you Lord, In Jesus' Name. Amen

God Bless you all,
-george
