Taurus PT-745 magazine problem

Took my new Taurus PT-745 to the range and it performed flawlessly for the first 30rds. Then the magazine started popping out of the gun and nothing I could do would make it stay in the gun. Took it home and checked the mag release mechanism and it seemed to be working OK. Frustrated, I packed it up and sent it back to Taurus for repair. Anybody have that experience with a Taurus? I own three Taurus pistols and have been a big fan for years. This experience is making me rethink that position right now.
