Info about TX

Post by HamrHed »

I am an Ohio res. and traveling to TX this weekend. I will be carrying my HG but not in TX. Every state along the way accepts my permit. How do I legally transport in TX?

Texas has the Motorist Protection Act. You would be legal to have the handgun concealed in your vehicle, you just can't take it out of the vehicle. See http://www.handgunlaw.us/documents/USRVCarCarry.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; under Texas for the code.
