DPS Question

Ok WE have a question and i HOPE to get a reply BEFORE WE send in our Apps and the Question is... when we make out the cashiers checks to dps can we just put on there dps or do we have to spell it out as Department of Public Safety?

Although "TX DPS" will work, I'd play it safe, go for the extra few letters, and make it payable to "Texas Department of Public Safety."

You can send a personal check; you don't have to send certified funds. I know the application still doesn't reflect that you can send personal checks.

Kinda funny how they are so picky about spelling out Road and Street and not abreviating it, Yet they aren't at all fussy about the check. :)
