trip to Dallas, are these places posted?

Post by Tactical_Texan_CHL »

Hey All,

It's been a very long time since I've posted, nice to see all is going well here! We're headed to Dallas this afternoon and I wanted to check on a few things. We'll be going to the King Tut exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art and i wondered if it's posted. I checked texas3006.com and it says it's posted but not valid. I just wanted to confirm that. Anyone know for sure? Also, we're probably going to the Dallas World Aquarium too. Has anyone been and seen a sign there? Not sure what else we might do, so any museum or touristy thing that might be posted that you guys know about would be great too if you could let me know. Thanks in advance!

Yes, Museum is posted, but it is a city building, so not valid anyway.

I believe the aquarium is closed for remodeling currently.

If you decide to go elsewhere, the Natural History Museum at Fair Park (the one with the IMAX) had a 30.06 posted at the main entrance. I believe it was valid, as the Museum is not owned by the city.

Thanks for the help. Just called the aquarium to check and they're open still. We'll be going there too. If you haven't made it, the Dallas World Aquarium is awesome! Talk to everyone soon.

It is not posted.

City of Dallas owns Fair Park and all buildings on the grounds, if I am not mistaken.

Hmmm, read the information here about it:

But if you're right, then that 30.06 is not enforceable.
