Found this forum recently and it is great. I have looked but have'nt found the answer so maybe you guys can help.
I payed DPS online and have recieved my packet. I live in very rural west Texas and took my original class and 2 renewals in Midland. I let time get away from me and let chl expire a couple weeks ago.
My questions...how long do I have to renew without having to take the full course? Also, am I correct in that I just need the photos and fingerprints with the completed paperwork in the packet sent in?
Hope this makes sense and apprecitate the help.

You have 1 year past the expiration to renew.

DPS needs application, photos, fingerprints, 3 affidavits, and a TR-100.

I'd suggest calling DPS as it appears you may fit in the niche of 2007 law allowing "skip the class and TR-100" on 3'rd renewal.
