I just received "No Gun Bans" cards from NRA-ILA
I just received my 4 "No Gun Bans" postcard from the NRA-ILA. There is a card each to my Senators, Representative, and one to Attorney General Eric Holder, opposing the gun ban that Holder supports and announced earlier this year.
I urge all NRA members to take the time to sign, stamp and send these cards to show our support for the 2nd Amendment. If you did not receive your postcards, or are not a member of the NRA, then please take the time to write your congressmen and Attorney General Holder showing your support for the 2nd Amendment.
If you can, maybe send the NRA a little something extra also.
Thank you.

It makes much more of an impact to write your own letter and send that.

This is very true and I urge anyone so inclined to please do so, however, inertia being what it is, there are many who can overcome it enought to put a stamp on a card and mail it, who may not be able to overcome it sufficiently to put pen to paper (or printer to paper) and get their own letter sent.bdickens wrote:It makes much more of an impact to write your own letter and send that.
The card would have much more impact that nothing at all.

Are these being sent to all NRA members?

I'll send them along with a personal letter. Great idea.

Sending these, the ones I got from GOA, AND a personal letter to each.bdickens wrote:It makes much more of an impact to write your own letter and send that.
I'm very confused.
I get a very alarmist envelope from the NRA, and a sensible, well written letter from the GOA.
When did these two orgs switch places??
