Couple of positive customer service experiences

Post by WEC »

Note: This is not an advertisement of any sort. I just wanted to reinforce some good opinions for two retailers that have good reputations on this site.

I just had a couple of great customer service encounters with two retailers of gun supplies.

First was with D.M. Bullard. I ordered a magazine holder from him, but when I checked out, I forgot to "add black" to the mag holder. I promptly sent Mr. Bullard an e-mail stating the error and if he wanted to send me an invoice for the difference, I'd be more than happy to pay it. He replied that he will note the change and not to worry about the upcharge. Given, it's only $2.95 plus tax, but little things like that go a long way. Not to mention that he makes great quality leather goods at a very reasonable price.

Second was with Comp-Tac. I had ordered a spare MTAC body for one gun, but then acquired another gun this past weekend. I called them to ask if I could add another spare body to my previous order since it was still listed as "in production" and I could save a few bucks on shipping. The gentleman on the phone (can't remember his name... Jason, I think?) said that he would take the order and alert the ladies in shipping of the situation. He said he can't guarantee if both holster bodies will ship at the same time, but if they shipped separately that he would waive the shipping fees. Only a savings of $4 or so but again, very helpful.

I just wanted to give big thumbs up to these two companies. I think anyone would be pleased with the service and products that they provide, both proudly made in Texas. :txflag:

Great to hear. We too often make a post about how we were disgruntled about a buying or customer service experience. I like the fact that someone can still post about just being taken care of or being treated like a valued customer and not just a credit card swipe or an invoice number. Glad to hear there are still good companies to deal with out there.

Maybe it's only a few bucks each, but good customer service creates customer loyalty.
