National Parks

Post by Oldgringo »

We'll be in a couple NP's in the next couple of weeks on our way to CO. I hope I missed the change back to allowing CC in the National Parks; or, is the no CC injunction still in effect? I guess you can have a protective device in your vehicle if it's concealed?

OTOH, why worry? There are no rascals loose in the National Parks.

Sorry, the rule change was suspended March 20 and remains suspended, so it is illegal to carry a loaded firearm in a national park.

Thanks, Jim,

That was the last word I'd seen on the subject and was hoping I'd missed a favorable update.

I'm sure the next decision on this subject will be big news to those of us who care about it. I've watched a few environmental impact studies on various project here on the coast. They rarely take as little as a year.
