Anyone know where to find a Kimber

Post by lithium398 »

Hey there, was wondering if anybody would know where I can locate a Kimber Pro or Compact CDP II (4in barrel), as I have decided to use that as my ccw. Every local gun dealer in my area are backordered as well as all the online gun dealers from 4-6months. I check gunbroker eod with a few ultra/custom models on there. Just wondering if anyone knew a local shop in ur area that had one sitting there. Any help would be appreciated.

check out the classified section of this forum. DFW is a bit of a drive but it is faster than 4-6 months.

Excellent choice though hard to find. I have CCW a bobbed Kimber Pro CDP for several years now. Shoots straight every time the trigger is pulled. I see plenty at the Houston gun shows new for around $1k.

You can always do a search on elitedealseeker.com and adjust the time and model of what you are looking for.

:iagree:
I carry a Kimber Ultra CDP II. They're great pistols. Good luck getting one. Hold out for what you want and don't just settle for what you can find easily.

Yep. Also check Bachman and Schramm, if they're there.

Ed ... I'll take a look at my local shop when I'm up there later this week and see if they have what you're looking for. They carry Kimber, and had a few different models in the case when I was up there earlier this week, but I'm not familiar enough with the different Kimber models to say what was what ... and they were positioned too close to the Springfields which is what caught my eye.

The HGCA this weekend at Reliant and if you don't have any luck there contact Shooter's Station in Conroe. He has a pretty good selection of Kimbers all the time.

I heard from a little birdie that TxDrifter has a pretty nice Kimber Eclipse Pro. Just a hunch.

Why yes, yes I do. Hopefully you ar enjoying that Kimber Crimson Carry Ultra. Do you know I haven't even been able to try the Eclipse out yet? :grumble I think I need to visit the range tomorrow and break it in. I actually have the Eclipse Pro, a Tactical Custom and a SS Ultra Carry. I used a .38 and 92F in the Air Force and owned a 92FS for the longest time. I got a hold of a 1911 though and caught the bug.
