The event at Shiloh Shooting starts at noon on Friday, May 15, and goes through around 1:00. 'Course, a lot of folks may stick around into the afternoon. Outlaw Dave will be broadcasting live (950 KPRC), and either La Tapatia or Berryhill Baja Grill (I'm not sure which) will be catering free food.

Brian Hoffner will give a short, on-air seminar on firearm safety and handling, and will also conduct a free training class for beginning shooters...so this would be a great opportunity to bring a newish gunner and let him or her get some free instruction plus get exposure to a bunch of gun-friendly types who are really pretty nice people. ;-) Too, my bud Jeff will give a brief presentation on proper range etiquette which will help new shooters feel more comfortable hittin' the lanes on their own.

For those of us who may not be appropriate for Hoff's beginner class, F.A.S.T. will also be there offering free runs on their laser simulator training. I think there will also be a few door-prize giveaways from Shiloh and Hoffner. And, naturally, all lanes will open up again in the afternoon so you can shoot some rounds of that hard-to-find ammo.
