I got a text from Rick Perry about this and maybe some of you did too.
He talks about the “Firearms Freedom Act” with Texas and South Carolina joining for a telephone call on May 14th. That's today! And they will be on the Glenn Beck show as well today.

H.B. No. 1863 is making it's way through Texas House of Representatives and it say about the same thing Montana just passed.
Sec. 2003.003. NOT SUBJECT TO FEDERAL REGULATION. (a) A firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition that is manufactured in this state and remains in this state is not subject to federal law or federal regulation, including registration, under the authority of the United States Congress to regulate interstate commerce.

Is this our chance to win back some of our rights? I'll be watching today to see if Obama is going to allow the states to rebel.

Correct me if I'm wrong, just clarifying here, but this would make Title 2 Items made in Texas, no longer Title 2 items, so long as they remain in Texas?
Basically throwing the NFA out the window, since it's Federal Regulation?

So no more Tax stamp for purchasing suppressors, automatics, etc?

Reduce noise and possible hearing loss, increase gun accuracy, reduce gun recoil, etc.

Hearing loss prvention...that's a good reason, especially if you like
to do alot of target practice and you want to further protect your
hearing over and above what those ear muffs provide
