For my pocket gun (Kel-Tec P3-AT), I use the K&D Pocket Defender Convertible 2-in-1:

I like the extra piece of flat leather as it breaks up the shape of the gun, and it just looks like I have a big wallet in my front pocket.

Beware, though, they are BUSY folks and you may have to wait awhile, but their products are worth the wait! Call ahead to see what their lead times are.

DeSantis Nemesis is the best mass market widely available pocket holster I've used. Have model for Kahr PM40 (same as PM9) and it worked well for that gun, but now that I no longer own that gun I use same holster for my S&W Airweight J-frame .38 revolver and it works well for that too (I tried the Nemesis made for the J-frame and didn't like it - too big).

For my Ruger LCP, I use a holster from this web site (quality construction, fast turnaround time and shipping) ... http://www.pocketholsters.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; the anti-print flap really works well, but does add some width.

Have not used any of these others pocket holsters listed below, but have heard good things about most of them (thus keep them handy in my browser favorites):

I carry my S&W snubbie in a Desantis Nemesis holster.

The holster stays in your pocket when you draw b/c its lined with that rubbery material that you line your kitchen drawers with and/or put underneath rugs to prevent slipping. It's an excellent solution for those hot summer days when you don't feel like wearing a holster.

Way to succinctly stick it to all us macho guys who don't even think of such things! :cheers2:

Of course, I gotta ask - in which pocket of your purse do you carry it? I know when I go to find something in my wife's purse, it's a black hole in there.

Above is all in good joking fun, but seriously, I am interested, do you use a special purse designed to hold a handgun or just put it in whatever purse you're using? And what kind(s) of gun(s)?

Don't laugh too hard. I just recently got done cutting up a $900 L. Vitton purse and putting pieces of it on the exterior of some pocket holsters. I've learned that you never know what the customer is going to ask for....

Check out mecopocketholsters.com - he makes front and back pocket holsters, mag holders and IWB for Seecamps, Micro Desert Eagles, Kahr, Kel-Tec, North American Arms, Ruger and Rohrbaugh.

He will customize your orders too. He made me an IWB and I have a panel I can attach to it if I want to use it in a cargo pants pocket or in a purse:

He made one for my husband with an extended panel to use with a vest pocket:

Robert's holsters are all handmade & hand sewn. He started as a hobbyist and has grown into a full time business. If you want one of the best holsters you can find - check out his site!

I use one by Guru. Panel is used for cargo pants/shorts. Otherwise it goes in the front right pocket.
Great for late night quick trips to the store for milk etc.

I use a cheap Uncle Mikes pocket holster that covers the trigger and breaks up the outline.

I have purses designed specifically for carry and I have off the shelf purses with multiple compartments to which I assign one exclusively for my gun. Both work well for me.

My answer to Keith B my favorite right now is a Fossil brand purse. I don't like Gucci. They are too big!

LOL now my wife is interested. Looking for a 9mm want a Kahr PM9 but looking at Kel Tec PF9 or P11 due to cost. Are these too big for pocket holsters? Thanks for the links! Was looking at the Ruger LCP but almost same price can get a 9mm & just a tad larger. Whas everyone's thoughts?
