.17 HMR revolver?

Post by CJATE »

am I missing something? why would you want an .17HMR as a concealment piece? i can't image it has more penetration then a 380? most of us agree that the 380 is not our go-to round.

any thoughts, or am i missing something?

I do like 8 rounds in a snubby, but I am not sure it would cut it.

Well, I wouldn't use it.......
Agreed, it spits it out pretty fast, but it is still only a small "Pea Sized" projectile.

I won't even try the .327 Mag in the 6 shot SP101 for the same reason.

I have owned a .380 but I got rid of it and will never buy another one.

.38 +P or 9mm Para +P are the smallest SD rounds I will carry/shoot and that is very limited. My usual primary is .45 ACP +P and I feel comfortable with that. My backups are the .38 +P or the 9mm Para +P.

As usual, these are only my experiences and preferences, YMMV. :patriot:
