The dog knows

Post by Frost »

Today when I entered a customers house was greeted by an overly friendly dog sniffing like crazy at my holster. Luckily the owner not only quickly rescued me but also provided an explanation and cover:

"Your belt must be real leather, he just loves the smell of leather."

Right, the belt... that must be it.
It can happen here.

I could see a dog giving you up as he barks 'Glock, Glock, Glock', but never heard a dog bark '1911, 1911, 1911' :biggrinjester:

A Wilderness Tactical belt and Kydex holster should foil Fido.

What? You've never heard a big ol' mutt give a guttural, "Browning, Browning!" :headscratch

That's surprising. Dogs are usually trustworthy.

It's my loud-mouthed relatives that blow my cover.
"If a man breaks in your house, he ain't there for iced tea." Mom & Dad.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.
