New Ruger SP101

Post by CodeJockey »

Hello all! I haven't posted in quite a while because work has been crazy. I just thought I'd share my new purchase. I picked up a Ruger SP101 chambered in .357 magnum yesterday. It is the hammerless variety with a 2" barrel.

Thank you! I really enjoy this forum, and I plan to hang around for awhile. I switched jobs a few months back, and the changeover has been crazy, but things are finally settling down now! I had to buy this because I'm taking my CHL Instructor course next week, and I needed a revolver to qualify with. I can't wait to hit the range tonight to see how she does.

Maybe its just me, but I think I would make an effort to use a revolver with a longer barrel for the range part of the test.
If the 2nd admendment only applies to muskets and muzzle-loaders, then the 1st admentment must apply only to the spoken or printed word. Printing must be done on hand presses, news stories must be written in longhand, no keyboards or electric processes may be used.

I was thinking about replacement grips for mine.
