Tuxedo carry

Post by Frost »

Anyone have experience carrying in a tux? My normally carry a full size IWB; I am thinking shoulder holster.
It can happen here.

Walther PPK with a sharpened firing pin is the only way to go. :coolgleamA:

How do you IWB without a belt? I was told that there would be no belt or even belt loops.

ETA: I'v got a crossbreed supertuck.

The lack of a belt is a challenge. I've pocket carried a Kel-Tec P-32 in my tuxedo.

Well, behind the cummerbund worked for Frank Rizzo. This is a famous picture of him from 1969. He was the police commissioner at the time in Philadelphia. While at a formal dinner, he was informed of a riot starting. He went to the scene, still in a sharksin tux, with the nightstick visible stuck in the cummerbund.

Don't laugh folks, but I've actually worn a PPK in a shoulder holster when attending formal events. Yeah I know, James Bond want-to-be.

This would be a good application for one of the Kramer undershirts with the holster pockets. Maybe a thin single stack Mak with some thin pearl grips,

Take away the second first, and the first is gone in a second.

I, too, have used my shoulder holster under a tux or suit jacket. Espicially with no belt to keep things in place!
