Yeah, I'm starting to remind her how uneven that deal was

Not an uneven deal you just didn't buy a gun with a big enough price tag!

mmm...might have to negotiate some other form of compensation for my side

I didn't mind the sewing machine thing. She's been steady on her quilting hobby
and she's getting good enough at it that she should be able to start making
a little money on the side.

I'm supprised at what some people will pay for a quilt.

Me, I'd just go down to wal-marts and buy a blanket and be done with it

But, I think you're right...I need to negotiate better deals with the wife from now on...

I know, I know....who am I kidding.

I'm gonna get the short end of the stick
on these deals. It's all part of loving yer wife
to letting her think she's in charge sometimes
so she can feel good 'bout herself and all that.

It's funny too when you have a chance to
listen to a bunch of ladies talk amongst
themselves, they think they are in charge! :smash:

You need to make some concealed carry vests with that $1300 sewing machine.

Hey that is how I got one of my $1000+ sewing machines! I use them to make shooting vests. I can never have too many sewing machines.

And, if somebody breaks into your house...offer to take up his britches...that'll keep 'em busy for a while! :waiting:

If anyone has the misfortune to do such a poor job of target id that they break into compvest's house and survive, they're more likely going to need their britches washed. :coolgleamA:

Looks like alot of info there.

May need to read up on those old ones cause I've got a pretty old S&W .38 I'm
going to eventually want to sell. I'll need to find out exactly how old it is
first so I can see what a fair asking price would be

Mike1951 wrote:The bible, so to speak, would be "Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson, 3rd Ed" by Jim Supica and Richard Nahas. You might find it in a library. Only you can decide whether it's worth it to buy for only one S&W. Amazon.com may have the best price.
Yessir...got this book in today and it has everything one could want to know 'bout both Smith & Wesson!

Thanks for the tip on this.
