Yeah, eventually I'm wanting to learn more about doing this.

Since I've spent years tearing apart cars and trucks and
putting them back together, I figure I can do this too.

My only hesitation is working on guns is kinda like
working on airplanes...if you screw up, somebody
is likely going to either die or get seriously hurt.

At least with a truck or auto, most of the time you're
just stuck on the side of the road needing a tow.

But, you're right...I need to make sure I have
an owner's manual for everything I have and
jump in and pay attention to the documentation
I find so hopefully I don't screw anything up.

You can always get on youtube. I looked for several different videos on a few guns I have. Youtube provided me with a good video for cleaning my CZ 75, my CETME, CX4 carbine, AR15, and my PX4. I would see if there is a video pertaining to your shotgun and watch it before you go pick up your gun. Good luck...

That's a pretty good idea, except for one thing...the BATFE is probably watching
to see who watches what video so they can come to your house and make sure
you aren't just cleaning your piece to get ready to sell to a Mexican drug gang

Sorry...was just reading the thread over at
