Ok Folks,
Many of you may know about this or may not. If you do then put your hearing protection on while I rave.
The Second Amendment March is progressing well. We need you to join us on the march.
I am working as the Houston Area Coordinator.
I am currently working on a meet and greet. If any of you can think of a good range to do it at
I would love to have a first meet as it where.
If you know nothing about this then check out the march at

The application has been put in for April 19th 2010, we are awaiting final permission to protest the government.

Re: Second Amendment March
Looks like a good idea on the surface, just hope any/all marches/demonstrations are carried out calmly and legally.

Um, can you explain the process of getting permission from the government to peacefully protest? Isn't that inherently gauranteed already? And 2A protestors would really be shooting themselves in the foot if they did anything but a totally peaceful protest.
Re: Second Amendment March
Well lets see...Um, can you explain the process of getting permission from the government to peacefully protest?
You need a permit for the parade (the march)
You need a permit for the porta-cans
You need a permit to close the street(s)
You need a permit to use the park
You need a permit for a stage
You need a permit for any vendors
You need a permit for the sound system
You need a permit for the trash cans
There is no permit (as of yet) for what is said, its all the other permits needed to be able to say what you want to say.
