Great Colt Customer Service

Post by Tireshred »

I have a New Agent, it ran all ammo with no flaws, until one day when after cleaning I installed the return spring backwards. At the range the spring jumped over the flange and broke the recoil spring cap, I tried to buy one but Colt said something was in the works and to keep an eye on the website. They ended up recalling it and several other pistols, they sent me a shipping label and instructions. I sent it last Monday and they returned it last Friday! I went to PSC Saturday and ran several types of ammo thru it, around 100 rounds, it performed flawlessly again and is back in the CCW rotation. One of the things they did was redesign the return spring so it could be installed either way, that is a great help for hamfisted gun cleaners like me :smilelol5: . I give Colt :thumbs2: for customer service on this one.

This is good to know. All I've ever heard about Colt is that they make great firearms but they have horrible customer service.

Perhaps they hired someone to clean it up.

Thanks for the report.
