Hello, everyone. I'm the guy that actually built this thing, and I'd like to make one point clear. This is NOT a swamp cooler. A swamp cooler cools air due to the evaporation of water, and increases the humidity of the air. If you took the time to actually look at my instructions, this device pumps cold water through a heater coil and blows air over it. This decreases the humidity of the air, just like a standard A/C, because water in the air condenses on the cold coils and dribbles into the cooler.

Also, it is shown in the main image running off a standalone 12V battery for demonstration only. The truck is cluttered, and I wanted a clean background to show the unit, so I jumpered it to a battery and took a picture on the living room carpet. Again, if you actually looked at the instructions, you would see that it generally plugs into the cigarette lighter of the vehicle in which it is placed.
