Most Commonly Discussed Topics

Post by dicion »

Okay folks.. if you've been here any decent length of time, you know that the SAME questions and topics keep being brought up. It's almost a revolving door, as in one Discussion ends, and as soon as it's off the front page, another one pops up on the exact same, or Similar lines of the previous one. With the constant influx of new people, people end up posting the same things, if not just a direct link back to the original topic, lather, rinse, repeat.

Most of these start with a news story, a personal experience, or a question, and they bloom into a 'what would you do' and 'what's legal in this situation' sort of discussion. This is not bad, but the problem is, it's not always Titled as such a discussion. So, with that in mind, The links here generally all will contain a 'discussion' beyond, or on the original topic that I believe will answer or at least clarify some questions people may have.

So, I'm composing a list of the Most Commonly Discussed topics on this forum, with Links to the relevant threads. Please reply to this post with what you think very commonly discussed topics are, and links to the threads in which they are discussed! Also, please note. These threads are Discussions only. There may or may not be clear and concise answers in them. More then likely there are not. Do not take any advice as legal advice.

A © Next to a Thread description means that Charles L. Cotton, the Site administrator and Highly Experienced Gun Law Lawyer, has given an opinion on something in this thread. His word is not necessarily golden, However, I personally would consider it at least worth it's weight in silver :smash:

However, I, and the other 99% of the other members of this forum are not Lawyers, we just play them on TexasCHLForum.com "rlol"
Consult a REAL Lawyer before doing anything. At All. Ever.

I actually haven't seen an OC Thread in quite a while... If you can reference me a few threads, I'll gladly include it in the list above.

If they don't use the search function before starting new threads on these topics, what makes you think they'll find this topic? "rlol"

In all seriousness, its a good idea, but many people just don't bother to search for info no matter what before posting a new question. :tiphat:

Fair enough. In an effort not to just be a naysayer to others ideas, I'll go look for a good thread on a commonly asked question. :tiphat:

Another good one I didn't think of. I'm just making a 'printing' section in general. Found a few other good threads as well, including a 4 page discussion!
