Paperwork needed for Disorderly Conduct

Post by texaspyro21 »

I was ticketed, but not arrested for disorderly conduct back in 2003. Do I need to provide any additional paperwork to go along with it if I plead guilty?

Also, do I need to list hunting violations, no hunter's ed and no public land permit, if I was only ticketed and not arrested?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

You do not need to list a violation or provide documentation unless you were taken into custody and fingerprinted.

You need to be careful in the future, because any conviction for disorderly conduct (Penal Code 42.01), even for something like swearing in public, is a disqualification for getting a CHL.

So I shouldn't list my disorderly conduct on there at all or list it and note that I wasn't arrested?

You are legally obligated to list any violation for which you were taken into custody and fingerprinted [Government Code 411.174(b)(7)].

I can't advise you what to do because I am not a lawyer. ;-) I'm just pointing out the law that is there for everyone to see: http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/D ... tm#411.174" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
