Hays County does something else right

Post by seamusTX »

Hays County officials and Cabelas in Buda will hold a firearms safety demonstration next weekend (August 22 and 23): http://www.sanmarcosmercury.com/archives/9514" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This area (which has a special place in my recollections) is trying to make a successful transition from rural to suburban without rejecting tradition.

Hays County is southwest of Austin.

I think something like that is a great idea. I wish the popularity would catch on and see events like that all over the state.

I would think the sporting goods chains would be eager to do it, if only to boost traffic. It simply takes someone to get it organized.
