I bought one for my wife. Other than having to send it back, it's been a really nice little shooter. In Sig's favor, they sent a box with the shipping label - all I had to do was put it in the box and tape it shut and ship it.slowrey wrote:I've held and played with the P238 and like the gun alot. If I had to buy a small gun it'd be the Sig over an LCP or Kel-Tec.
My wife loves it. She (a beginning shooter) shot around 90 or so rounds through it last weekend and her wrists weren't sore at all (an issue she had with my CZ-82). She liked the way it sighted (it actually HAS sights), the trigger break, recoil, and pretty much everything else - she didn't like the 6 round capacity - she also didn't like the 6 + 1 hammer down safety on method. She also knows that for the size, that's all she's going to get.
I like it as well. I shoot my CZ much better, but the 238 is very managable and fairly accurate (enough for defense anyway) and definitle easy to pocket or conceal.
