I chose the "peel out" option also, but only because you didn't give me a choice in the poll.

I haven't been stopped by an LEO for many many years so I haven't had to present my CHL. I'm planning to make it through the next 6 days without being stopped. After that, the officer gets handed my DL and insurance, no CHL.

Don't you still have to present the CHL after September 1, and just the penalty for failing to do so has been removed?

well, that's understandable. but I can't imagine that taking so much time that you couldn't achieve all of that before the LEO even gets out of his car.
FWIW, IIRC, AFAIK, FTMP, IANAL. YMMV.

Yes, it must be shown, but what does a person on mpa carry have to go thru in stops?

I have been stopped 1.5 times since I got my CHL, and I have been in one wreck. For the one stop and the wreck, I waited until I was asked for ID and then I presented DL,. CHL, and insurance in one move while announcing my CHL status. For the other stop I didn't know my CHL had been issued, but the cop did, so I didn't present it, nor did I tell him I had one, and when he told me that their records indicated I had one, I thanked him for letting me know because I was waiting to carry until I had it in hand.

Actually, still nothing as you do not legaly have to answer their questions (but it might be wise to cooperate unless you have something to hide in the first place :thumbs2: .)
