Experts see double-digit Dem losses

Post by joe817 »

It was bound to happen. We saw it coming....
After an August recess marked by raucous town halls, troubling polling data and widespread anecdotal evidence of a volatile electorate, the small universe of political analysts who closely follow House races is predicting moderate to heavy Democratic losses in 2010.

We can only hope this pans out for the sake of our country. It's time real conservatives step up.

2010 and 2012 will be historic elections at the federal level. I want the same reaction/result in Austin too. It's time to clean house...starting with that blasted "calendars committee"!

The problem is that many of the Republicans are just as bad. They mainly just want to keep their butt in that warm and cozy seat of OURS. We need to vote out any of them that do not have the correct values regardless of party affiliation. Most of them have been there so long they have forgotten they work FOR US. I know, for the first time, I will be actively working to unseat Chet Edwards as my rep. Curnock actually appears to be a decent option. Especially since he is supportive of either the Flat or Fair Tax.

Reality check...Don't get mad, just stay mad through these local races this November 3rd, 2009...And then carry it on till November next year...

It should be everyones job to remember what is going to be rammed down our throats, regardless of what happened this August...

We are going to get some sort of Nationalized Healthcare in the next couple of months, nothing will stop that at all...Just remember, if you thought people were mad now...Wait till that erupts...

Don't forget the industry killing Cap andTax bill coming up as well...That seems to have lost some publicity over the summer as well...

We have an opportunity to send a message loud and clear starting this November...Thats a little over 60 days from now...That's when the fun begins...

I would change that to Real American Patriots

If the electorate were to practice NMI (No More Incumbents) and insist on term limits a lot of the hogwash in politics would go away.

No argument there... these men and women don't represent us. We need someone to run that will eliminate 60% of the federal government PERIOD. None of these yahoos is going to do that and I mean on either side of the aisle.

Why is there no term limits for members of Congress?

Because a Congressman must introduce it & then Congress has to pass it as law first.

They are lazy, have a free lunch, all expenses pd, vacations, jets, more & who even thinks they will vote to end that. :banghead:

Why should they pass a law that would put them out on the street after a certain amount of time...

We already have term limits...Its called an election...Every two years or so we get to change things...If there are not enough people (citizens) who want to change something, nothing happens...
