Looks like I have to send my Crossbreed holster in
Well after a year of carry in my Crossbreed Supertuck it is giving up a little bit. The kydex on the holster body just above the ejection port is starting to crack. I called Crossbreed and they are telling me that I am goin to be out of a holster for at least a week.
Kinda sucks because I don't have anything to use in the mean time. Any one have a right handed IWB for a Glock 26 or USP compact 9mm that I could buy for really cheap or use while I get my holster repaired?

Nope, I figure its from me putting it on empty and cinching my belt down before I put the gun in.

Hey Killer how do you like Crossbreed overall. In pictures they look kinda crappy. Are they comfortable. As for your delima, have you consider a universal clipdraw? Its not a perrfect solution by any means but it is versital and good for a quick fix or if you have to stuff and go in a hurry. Plus they're cheap.killerfly128 wrote:Well after a year of carry in my Crossbreed Supertuck it is giving up a little bit. I have two of the CrossBreed Supertuck holsters, one for my Browning Hi-Powers and one for my Para Ordnance P14-45. In each case they are the most comfortable IWB holster I have ever tried. I highly recomend CrossBreed, well worth the money.
I am sorry to hear about your delema with the broken Kydex

Sorry to hear yours split. I have a Crossbreed and it is the most comfortable holster that I own as well. I found the company owners to be very mannerly and respectable.

I honestly love my holster to death, I haven't tried anything that quite comes close to my horse hide Supertuck. I even feel the regular cow hide Supertuck is inferior. I have worn it in normal fitting T- shirts, suits, button ups, and even tucked in polos. I really think it is one of the most versatile holsters out there. The holster is rather adjustable but I find I like it on the "factory" settings the most. After a bit of break in and a little cleaning with some saddle soap it is next to silent. Presentation and retention are very nice. I can get the gun out of the holster and on target about as fast as a OWB holster and the retention surpasses most leather holster if not all of them due to the kydex molding into the trigger guard. Only issue I have with it is the cracking kydex but that is covered under warranty. As far as comfort goes it is awesome! I have fallen asleep with it on after a full day of wearing it and it never bothers me. Build quality is nice, yeah they dont look pretty but function over form right?
I might have to go with a clipdraw on the baby Glock till I get the crossbreed back ... I just don't want to let it go though. I love my USP too much to put on of those silly clip things on it, the Glock is the red headed step child.
I highly recommend the Supertuck to anyone that carries, it by far is the best holster I have put on. To give you an idea on how it rides on me here is a picture. It rides very tight to the side of my body, with a gun the size of a USPc or Glock 19 I can get away with bending at the waist, running, turning my body, and even sitting on a stool without printing for the most part. Sometimes I print when I bend too far but that is to be expected with just about any holster and gun combo where the grip is a "full length" grip.
If you have anymore questions about it let me know, I will do my best to answer them.

Nice, you gotta love a guy with teal glass pebbles & color matched soap
Teasing aside I hope that they get you sorted quickly, I am already rather attached to my USPc

I blame my wife for the decor .... I would love to throw half of it away.
The USPc is really easy to become attached to, I cant think of one person that has hated it.

On a slightly related note I have just put my HK 45 back to stock ready to ship it out, and I now have a spare Wolf 10lb hammer spring.
PM me your address and it is yours.
