The range was pretty well attened and not too busy. We took 4 handguns and the Glock conversion kit. Cost to shoot $12.99 (

Two words of advice for anyone shooting at Texas City anytime soon...BUG SPRAY. The skeeters were hungry and carrying off small children and pets. The weather was overcast with just a cheeky little breeze from time to time keeping it very pleasant temperature wise.
The range itself was in good shape and there were half a dozen of so assorted pistol shooters.
Yhe Glocks again shot well (I love the G30 SF...man that thing shots smoothly and accurately). The G19 was shot with both the GCK on it and the original 9mm slide. It definately shoots more accurately with the factory slide on it, but the .22 is just such great fun and doesn't empty the wallet!
The Springfield XD9 really feels different in the hand to the Glocks (I prefer the feel of the Glocks) but it is a real accurate pistol. For some reason it seems a lot louder than even the .45 Glock. Anyone know why that would be?
The Bersa (380 Thunder CC) even got a chance to clear it's throat and we popped a few through it. We had a couple of FTF and that gun is great to conceal but it is a hard gun to sight so it really isn't a good target pistol IMHO.
All in all we had a good time shooting and it wasn't burning hot . There were no hot brass into the cleavage incidents for my good lady so she was happy.

There was a guy there bench shooting a 22 Beretta as a 'squirrel gun' that was no too happy about someone putting a couple of 9mm holes in his target....but that wasn't us! Honestly!

After the shooting we went and spent some time with Roy and Pat in T's Guns and Ammo (and replenished some supplies) and that was a good time too. I recommend anyone stopping to hangout and shoot the breeze in there with a truly nice guy and his wife.
All told we blew through 100 rnds of .22 160 rounds of 9mm, 55 rounds of .45 and .....dare I say it? About 30 rounds of .380

Good times and a lot of great people at TCSR. I recommend it to anyone.
