Rep. Sid Miller

Post by KD5NRH »

He was on hand Thursday night to explain the proposed amendments to the State Constitution. ( http://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/vo ... llot.shtml" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; )

So, what do you think he's packing under that vest? I noticed his Blackberry is on his left side, so that leaves lots of room on the right. No visible lump, but then if the Blackberry doesn't make a lump, the vest clearly has enough body to hide a pretty bulky object.

EDIT TO ADD: the vest does appear to have the tighter-than-normal cut armholes to hide a shoulder holster, but I'm guessing it wouldn't be buttoned if he had one under it.

I think the black vest is out of place with a pair of pleated khaki pants, making it a fashion faux-pas. So.... Yeah, he's packin'. Either that, or his wife let him get out the door without checking his clothing choices.

I have buffalo in another style, love it.
Ø resist

Take away the second first, and the first is gone in a second.

I was wearing their (unfortunately now discontinued) Safari vest at the meeting, but his was definitely fabric, and I'm pretty sure the buttons were real buttons, not snaps that could be easily pulled open for access.

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me
