Question for Beretta pistol owners
I recently shot a 92f, and it may be one of the finest pistols, particulary the trigger system, that I've ever shot. I shoot most .40 though, and saw a model 96 LEO trade-in for 399.00 Is this very comparable to the 92f with the exception of caliber? Does the price sound right?

Re: Question for Beretta pistol owners
Your best bet would be to go on line and check out what Beretta wants for them and make a few phone calls to some local stores. Look on some auction sites as well. I have a Beretta 92G Centarurian and wouldn't trade for it.
Good luck!

Re: Question for Beretta pistol owners
$399 doesn't sound bad for a solid 96. Most of the LEO handguns have been shot little and carried a lot. Holster wear, i.e. "patina" is normally the most wear you will see on a LEO issue handgun. I wish my short bearpaw fingers could handle Beretta pistols. They are (normally) well made service weapons.
